My husband loves this! June 18, 2008 I got this for my husband for Father's Day and he says it is the best gift ever!
Nice watch but bracelet is leaves me wanting more April 26, 2008 The Citizen Nighthawk is a nice looking watch with some nice features. I think it's a very good value for the money. The face is a good size and it looks good for either dress or casual. Some reviews state that it's heavy but I don't find it to be too heavy. My other watch is a Seiko automatic which is heavier so perhaps compared to a regular quartz watch this one may be heavy. In my opinion, here are some of the pros and cons.
Pros: - No battery required - large face, good look for either dress or casual. - slide rule if you want it. - 24 hour hand can be used to keep time in a different time zone - you can adjust only the hour hand if you want. Very nice feature if you travel frequently.
Cons: - bracelet feels pretty cheap. I would have given it five stars except for this. - No day of week. I knew that before I bought it but it's a feature I miss on this watch.
Mighty Fine Watch April 10, 2008 This is simply one of the most beautiful watches I have owned. The attention to detail and finish are top-notch. I have many higher dollar watches, and aesthetically, this tops most of them.
I agree, a stopwatch would be a nice addition. I don't know where you would put it.
It is massive, but I am too, so I wanted it to be. Some reviewers called it "heavy" but I don't find it particularly so.
I'm not giving it five stars because the band feels cheap. It isn't going to break, that's clear. It isn't going to fall off either, with the clasp lock.
Regardless, this watch is an immediate favorite of mine. Thanks for offering it at such a great price, Amazon!
Excellent March 29, 2008 it's a very good watch and very useful for pilot because it included a E6B flight computer in it and 24 hours time display. For me the best function is Eco-drive thus i don't change a battery any more. That's pretty cool!
Great watch February 24, 2008 I've only had the watch for a few weeks but I love it. The slide rule is not really useful as a practical application but can be fun to play with if you have good eyesight. The fact that there are so many numbers for the slide rule makes the watch face somewhat busy and therefore a little hard to read. Otherwise, the Eco-Drive is great, the watch keeps good time, and it looks great.
