Product Description From the makers of the original Swiss Army Knife, this 2-1/4-inch-long tool combines the Swiss Army Knife's renowned versatility and a removable 1 GB USB memory stick for storing and transporting data such as music, photos, and text files. Displaying the Swiss Army Knife's famed Swiss-flag logo of white cross against a red background, the handsome translucent-ruby housing also holds a knife blade, a combination nail file and screw driver, a scissors, a retractable ballpoint pen, a LED mini light, and a key ring. Accompanying the tool is a USB cable for connecting the memory stick to PCs and MACs. About Victorinox In 1884, Swiss cutler Karl Elsener set up shop in Ibach-Schwyz, installing a waterwheel in Tobelbach Brook to run his grinding and polishing machines. Thus began what would become the international brand name Victorinox, a combination of Victoria, for Elsener's mother, and "inox," or stainless steel. Today, Victorinox produces watches, luggage, clothing, and, famously, Swiss Army Knives. The forerunner of that name dates to 1897, when Elsener patented the Swiss Officer's and Sports Knife he supplied to the Swiss Army. Following World War II, American servicemen and women shopping in PX stores shortened the name to Swiss Army Knife, which lives on in English-speaking countries around the world and has become a metaphor or versatility.
Product Description The next generation: Swiss pocket knife with high storage capacity and a new outfit It has always been smart and chic, and is now even more powerful in its amazing new outfit. SWISSMEMORY USB Victorinox, the liaison between the traditional Swiss pocket knife and a Hi-Speed USB storage device is now available.

Husband loves it! January 19, 2008 I ordered this for my husband as a stocking stuffer. He is a gadget lover and a teacer. It is one of his favorite gifts! He loves the idea of it, it's compactness and usefulness! It is well made and practical!
Excellent Idea January 3, 2008 This is an excellent idea anyone who uses a computer as well as a knife. My husband loved it
Computer-age swiss army knife January 2, 2008 Great product for any of us who sometimes would like to copy material to a thumb drive... and also might need a little knife blade, scissors etc.
One Year Later December 8, 2007 As of Christmas day, my husband will have used this item for a full year. He's a computer programmer, webpage designer, etc and this item gets full use EVERY DAY. He still loves it and won't leave home without it in his pocket! Just the other day the light went out and we are searching out a replacement battery, but other than that have had NO other troubles with it. I highly recommend this item and any other Swiss Army items. Top quality.

The Victorinox SwissMemory 1 GB is a handsomely packaged item of electronically handy gadgetry paired with the legendary Swiss Army knife. It arrived in a timely fashion and in new condition and the price was considerbly lower than any other catalog source I consulted. All in all, a delightful buying experience!
