3 out of 5 stars Good, but not great   February 2, 2008

Fairly decent archival footage. The first half was the most interesting as it covers the Scharnhorst and Gneisenau. The second half covers the Bismarck and its sinking. Nothing new here. Several Bismarck survivors are interviewed. Their stories are the best part of this video. Overall, it's worth the price, but don't expect a comprehensive look at German battleships.
