3 out of 5 stars Good but defiantly could have been Great   August 19, 2008
2 out of 3 found this review helpful

Triple H is known by many things, The Game, King of Kings, the Cerebral Assasian, and the 12 time world champion. Triple H is a former WWE champion, Intercontinental, European, Tag team, king of the ring, and royal rumble winner. Triple H is also a grand slam winner. This dvd is a good way to see the early days of the game but more could have been added.

Disc 1
This first disc is the best of the two. Triple H begins talking on where he began wrestling and who trained him. His days in WCW is briefly touched on and then coming to the WWE with the royalty gimmick. Describes how he really found his style while wrestling with Marc Mero. Winning the King of the Ring. Meeting Chyna and forming DX with her and Shawn Michaels. Finally breaking away from DX and becoming "The Game". Winning the WWE title and starting the McMahon/Hemsley era with his feud against Mick Foley. His quadricept injury in 2001 and coming back and winning the Royal Rumble.

No Way Out 2.27.00

- Royal Rumble Match
Starting with Triple H entering at number 22
Royal Rumble 1.20.02

Disc 2
Starts out with Triple H talking about his fall out with Shawn and then Shawn coming back and having his feud with Triple H. Moves onto talking about forming Evolution with Ric Flair, Randy Orton, and Batista and how Batista morphed into one of the biggest stars today. Wrestling with Ric Flair. John Cena asking Triple H's honest opionion about their match at Wrestlemania 22. Also touches on how it was good to work with Edge as well.

- 2 out of 3 Falls for the World Heavyweight Title
Triple H vs. Shawn Michaels
Armageddon 12.15.02

- Hell in a Cell for the World Heavyweight Title
Triple H vs. Batista

This is a nice documentary on Triple H but a lot more could have been included. I recommend on checking this one out sometime. Don't waste all your money on it though.

3 out of 5 stars Not as Advertised...   August 10, 2008
...as far as I can recall. I could've sworn the ads talked about interviews with other wrestlers, and they even played audio from these other wrestlers and showed clips of them being interviewed about the Game.
Besides that, I was also hoping for a couple bigger, or even more recent, matches. Finally, I like more interviews, more stories. Perfect examples of the format I enjoy are the Road Warriors and new HBK DVDs. For the moderate Triple H fan like myself, that would've been perfect, but that's not what you get here. For a huge Triple H fan, this is great stuff.
That said, I still enjoyed this, although I skipped the disc 2 matches not so much for the selection but, like I said, for the interviews.

3 out of 5 stars Why is this not a triple disc????   July 28, 2008
Triple H is one of the best wrestlers so why is this not a 3 disc set? The match selection is ok, it's not like he doesn't have enough good matches to fill 3 dvds.

As expected, this DVD is filled with generic HHH matches which we will see for years to come since he now is part owner of the company. No documentary where the negative behavior can be pointed out. Convenient!

I own this 2 disc set and it is so awsome.i wish they went in deth of the hell in the cell matches that he has had.. i also think that they should have put more hell in the cell matches on there also put stone cold steve austin vs triple at survivor series it was such a great match.. but over all the set was awsome i enjoyed so much... i give this dvd set 5 stars
