Editorial Reviews:

Description
Instructional DVD by Simon Holmes with Robert Karlsson, a 5-time winner on the European Tour. The perfect "next step" companion to Holmes' Digital Golf School, this brand new double-sided DVD prepares the player on the range before embarking on a full 18-hole round. Soon, you will better understand how to take into consideration the various aspects - weather, terrain, ball position, etc. - and translate them into the right choices on the course, from clubs to techniques. Ultimately, the result is a strategy that will have you hitting better golf shots in the least amount of time.

Customer Reviews:

5 out of 5 stars An excellent DVD. You feel as though you are on the Golf Course.   May 25, 2007

One of the Best Golf Instruction DVD's I have watched.

I saw all 2 1/2 hours of it last night and found it full of great advice.

The format is in two parts; firstly a lesson on the practice range and then a playing lesson on the golf course. Robert Karlsson a top European player is the "student" and Simon Holmes his highly respected Coach.

They go through the process of analysing Roberts recent tour performance and working on correcting a few faults. The process they use is fascinating and can be applied to all levels of golfer.

The playing lesson is very well presented and includes an interactive ability to spot the golf balls location on the course after each shot, but I did not use this.

Karlsson is an exceptionally good golfer and finishes the round several strokes under par. I found it interesting to see how such a great score is achieved, stroke by stroke.

The main message of the dvd is that amateurs can improve significantly if the focus on their short game in practice and learn to minimize risk on the course by avoiding trouble. This requires a strategic view of each hole and this is well explained by Karlsson and Holmes on each hole and in many different shot situations.

I recommend this dvd to golfers of all levels of ability. It would help beginners and intermediate players and be valuable even for very skilled players
