Editorial Reviews:

Product Description
“The Competition” started out as an autobiographical account of my introduction to golf. A neighborhood friend of mine got out his dad's golf clubs and decided that we should try to hit balls. That's about as far as the autobiographical component played into the story. In the story, Gus smacks the ball 400+ yards on his first try. You could probably guess that my first swing was not as successful. I wanted to explore what could have happened if my first shot was absolutely perfect.
