4 out of 5 stars Taking the Final Turn to the Checkered Flag   July 4, 2008
1 out of 1 found this review helpful

Following the format and style of the series, there is a quirky edge in exploring the history of the sport, but the information will keep a reader turning fast laps throughout the 2008 season.

Author Brian Tarcy takes the high-groove on the super-speedway with the triumphs & controversies, trivia and stats within the almanac-styled format. And there are golden nuggets for even the biggest fans; with sections on the current top drivers, the oftentimes very confusing scoring system, rule changes and racing terms.

By not taking things too seriously, Tarcy makes the 208 pages a fun ride to the checkered flag.
