The main reason my short stands out among all the other shorts on Amazon.com is that my short is two inches taller.

5 out of 5 stars Awe-inspiring and emotionally moving   March 9, 2008
The most incredible piece of litrerature I have read in a long while. Kintz without question shows his literary genius with this dazzling account of what occured to me. I can't wait for the next Jarod Kintz literary work to be completed so I can reap the benefits of his eternal wisdom and advice.

5 out of 5 stars It never occurred to me that this wouldn't be grand   February 4, 2008

Growing up, my family had a quirky Christmas tradition, as I'm sure all families do. This was better than Mom's 7-layer jello or that god-awful Christmas with Elvis album she always had to play every year. Yes, this was the tradition of the toaster box.

Once upon a time, my dad gave my mom a toaster for Christmas. Amazingly, they're still happily married. As a joke, Mom kept the toaster box and each Christmas would put a secret gift in it for one of us kids. There was always an excited outburst when one of us would tear off the tacky Christmas wrapping paper (Mom was quite frugal) and see the toaster box. We always knew there would be something good inside.

And so it is with the writings of Jarod Kintz. I never quite know what to expect, but I do know it will be something grand. His writing is crisp, and it always makes me hungry for more. Next time though, I think I'll skip the jam.
