Editorial Reviews:

Product Description
"Don Wade has always had a good ear for a story, and that's been proven by the success this series of books has enjoyed. When the first book, "And Then Jack Said to Arnie . . . ", came out, I told him I was glad he finally put all those stories I've been telling him to good use. He's managed to get some of these stories in each of his six books that have followed, and I've enjoyed reading every one of them." -- Sam Snead "Don Wade is a master storyteller. Everything funny that's ever happened on the golf course has been collected in this series of books." -- Jerry Tarde Editor, Golf Digest "Don Wade's compilation of golf tales blends poignant, humorous, intriguing, and eye-catching stories about the people and places of the game." -- Library Journal "All the great golf stories you've hoped to hear or read--and now you can." -- Dave Anderson New York Times

Customer Reviews:

3 out of 5 stars A little disappointing   December 8, 2003
I really don't get why Don Wade is regarded as golf's master story teller. For a man with as much experience as him I would have thought he'd have a few juicier stories to offer than the rather lame anecdotes printed here. Most of the time I turned a page eager to discover how the story ended only to find that it already had.

5 out of 5 stars Don Wade does it again!   September 27, 1999

I don't know how he does it, but Wade consistently gets the best stories from the best golfers. And it's not just the big names or seniors players - he's got Se Ri Pak and Tiger Woods as well as Norman, Nicklaus and Ballesteros. Another great read.
